Review: Fire Inside (Chaos, #2) by Kristen Ashley

Lanie Heron isn’t looking for love—no surprise, considering her last serious relationship nearly got her killed. So when Lanie propositions Hop Kincaid, all she wants is one wild night with the hot-as-hell biker who patrols with the Chaos Motorcycle Club…

For Hop, Lanie has always been untouchable. She’s too polished and too classy for his tastes. But when she gives Hop the once-over with her bedroom eyes and offers him a night in paradise, he can’t say no. And he doesn’t regret it when he finds that Lanie is the best thing that’s ever happened to him—in or out of bed. Now the trick will be to convince her of that.

My Review

Anyone that follows my blog knows that I am a fan of the one and only Kristen Ashley.

I started reading this book with barely contained excitement. I loved Tack from Motorcycle Man. I loved Shy in Own the Wind.

But Hopper…. Oh my. I would feel terrible to give away what made Hopper over the top my favorite so far from Kristen Ashley’s Denver, Colorado world of sexy, hot, good men so you will have to read. I have a feeling you will know what it is. Hint: It happens in chapter 8.

Seriously. You HAVE to read this book.

I stayed up until after 3am reading until I just couldn’t keep my eyes open anymore. I loved every moment, every up and down that Hop and Lanie had.

When Kristen Ashley’s men find the women they want to be with. They waste no time getting there. They know what they want and they have no problem letting their woman know what is going to happen. Lanie like to throw drama but hop can deal with it because of the type of person he is. (A man will put up with a lot from a woman he has chosen to be with. The same goes for women.)

I was anxious thinking something bad was going to happen to Lanie again in this book since the female lead likes to get kidnapped a lot in her books. the closer I got to the end of the book, the more anxious I was. I thought that the book was going to end on a bad note and I was going to have to wait until the next book. I can give you piece of mind and say that neither scenario played out.

I am still anxious about what bad things will happen in the next book. I fear it will be big.
